Buried City feels like a different map when Lush Blooms rolls in. The gunfire is still there, sure, and ARC patrols don't suddenly become polite, but the mood changes. Instead of sprinting straight into the worst parts of town, a lot of Raiders start working the edges for Wicker Baskets. If you're saving resources for upgrades, or you've been looking at cheap ARC Raiders Coins to keep your setup moving, this event is one of those windows you really shouldn't ignore. The baskets can hand you the kind of natural materials that are annoying to gather any other way, like Agave, Mushrooms, Candleberries, Roots, Seeds, Resin, and other bits you always seem to need right after you've spent them.

Where the baskets actually show up

The biggest mistake I see is players diving into the middle of Buried City and expecting baskets to be sitting beside every major fight. That's not how it usually works. Wicker Baskets are more of an outskirts thing. Check broken courtyards, side streets, small plazas, ruined walls, and those half-forgotten corners around Santa Maria, Plaza Rosa, and the streets leading near Marano. They tend to sit close to human-made clutter rather than deep inside the nastiest combat pockets. There are loads of possible spawn points, but only some are active in a run, so don't get stubborn over one empty spot.

Why Lush Blooms is worth planning around

When the condition isn't active, don't bother hunting for them. You'll just waste time and probably walk into a bad fight for nothing. During Lush Blooms, though, these baskets become a tidy little farming route. The loot pool leans heavily into organic crafting items, which makes it perfect if you're feeding Scrappy progression or trying to finish a workshop requirement. It's not glamorous loot. You won't feel like you've cracked open a military cache. But after three or four baskets, your bag starts looking a lot more useful than you'd expect.

A safer route beats a greedy route

I'd rather run a clean outer loop than cut through the city centre for one extra basket. Start from whichever side you spawn near, move along the perimeter, and sweep the edges of settlement clusters. Look around parked wrecks, broken stalls, low walls, alley entrances, and the little outdoor spaces between buildings. If you hear too much fighting ahead, just bend the route around it. You're not there to prove anything. You're there to fill your pack, stay quiet, and leave before another squad decides your harvest belongs to them.

Getting out with the goods

Once your inventory has a good mix of fruit, fungus, roots, and crafting odds and ends, don't overstay. That's usually where people throw the run away. A half-full bag extracted safely is better than a perfect bag lost five metres from safety. Some players also use services like RSVSR when they want game currency or items to support their progress, but even then, smart farming still matters. Time your raids around Lush Blooms, keep your route loose, and treat Wicker Baskets as a quiet upgrade shortcut rather than a reason to pick every fight on the map.
